Louise Salter is an alumna of National Youth Theatre after training intensively alongside Rebecca Frecknall. Through on-going study and attending courses at The Actors Centre, Louise draws inspiration from Ivana Chubbuck, Meisner, Stanislavski and other various practitioners. Louise has acted in a number of independent features, shorts and series including in Soror, Butterfly and award-winning feature The Habit of Beauty. Her recent film work includes leading alongside BAFTA-winner Sophie Kennedy Clark in the short film How to be Human which is circulating major film festivals internationally and is being developed into a feature film. She can also be seen leading the series WARS alongside Jordan Metcalfe, Joss Porter and Skins-star April Pearson which is set to be released in early 2018.
