Eric Newman

Eric Newman is a producer, director and content creator who has a wealth of experience working in basketball, media & production. He has been able to combine his passions to grow a unique career working with the likes of Showtime Sports, ESPN, Turner, The Robot Company, Uninterrupted, Bleacher Report, and more. With an array of storytelling interests ranging from sports to social justice, Eric has continued to build a diverse body of unscripted work across a variety of partner platforms. Eric is the Executive Producer of the new Showtime Basketball initiative, which launched in 2019. He oversees all aspects of production for the ALL THE SMOKE digital show featuring Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson and is the co-director/co-producer of the upcoming Kevin Garnett feature documentary. In 2019 Eric also served as Executive Producer on THE RESURGENCE: Demarcus Cousins, which aired on Showtime along with leading field production for ESPN's Sneaker Center and working with future hall of fame pitcher CC Sabathia on his LegaCCy documentary project currently in post production.
