Joann Guidos

I have lived in New Orleans since 1956 and is the owner of the world famous Kajuns Pub. I've been featured in many different ways most importantly the book "Nine Lives" which is a best seller and it has been set to music including 7 songs written about her. I initially rose to fame in an article in the New Yorker right after Katrina. I have performed in the series Treme and been in numerous television interviews from all over the world. I also had a part in "Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire" Most recently I was featured in an article in Le Monde, a French daily magazine in Paris and also had a photo shoot with the world famous Sandro Miller.
