Samuel Crossley does whatever it takes to safely document athletes as they push themselves in remote areas and high risk situations. Big mountains and tired climbers fuel his creativity as he travels full-time out of his Sprinter Van; custom designed and built by himself. Samuel's commercial and editorial work has been for National Geographic, Google, Red Bull Media House, The North Face, REI, Reel Rock, and ABC News, among others. Inspired by Olympic Gold Medalist Matthew Mitcham, Samuel lives his professional life as an openly gay man and is passionate about revealing diversity within the climbing community. As technology evolves, the process of learning new tools excites Samuel. Shooting with anything from an iPhone to an Arri Amira, his breadth of technical knowledge enables him to focus on what's important, storytelling.
