Daniel is a wellspring of unique and often comedic ideas for stories and visuals. He draws on his background in live comedy and social activism to write and create films. His recent credits include co-producing the award-winning feature film, Kayaking to Klemtu, producing the feature documentary Whoa Canada and producing & casting for the hit PUP music video for their song Guilt Trip - notable as one of Finn Wolfhard's very first experiences acting. He's also worked alongside the members of The Yes Men and the Yes Lab for their latest project featuring Edward Snowden and directed David Suzuki for a promotional climate change campaign. Some of his creative contributions have been showcased in the Kunsthal Charlottenborg Museum in Copenhagen and the Moma in New York. Sometimes he doesn't know where he fits in as a filmmaker but he loves to move in the direction that feels most rewarding creatively and socially. He is well versed in skills as a director, writer, and producer and has worked in high-pressure environments in many different circumstances. He likes to divide his time between making compelling documentaries and directing weird or comedic scripted films.
