Growing up oblivious to the fact that he lived in the entertainment capitol of the world, John Ros originally aspired to draw for living-or discover alien life... whichever came first. On his first day of high school, John walked into what he thought was a 'digital art' class. He soon realized that it was fancy terms for video production. A few weeks into the school year, an upperclassman needed actors for his horror film that he was shooting at lunch and asked John if he was interested. After his first movie making experience, John went down the path of becoming the 'film guy' at his high school. By his Junior year, he was taking two different film classes and regularly shooting different shorts, music videos and school events. John, along with a few of his classmates posted weekly comedic content to YouTube. Reaching its climax in 2011, the Youtube channel EccentricTV had its videos featured in numerous articles and has amassed millions of views and still counting. One of its videos, "A Good Time" took 1st place at the Los Angeles Student Film Festival. Due to his dedication to film, John graduated with honors from Burbank High and went on to attend film school. In 2013, he founded his multimedia production company, Subplot Entertainment, and continues to operate it as its Chief Creative Officer. John has worked on hundreds, if not thousands of projects since that fateful day in 9th grade, ranging from commercials for big brands like Acura and 7-Eleven to feature films and music videos featuring Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown. In 2016 John became a producer for Discovery Digital Networks and is creating weekly content on the channel, People Be Like.
