Sandra Lahnsteiner

Since her early days in professional sport, Austria freeskier Sanrda Lahnsteiner has taken on the double role of filmmaker and athlete. In 2010 she released the first ever 'all girls ski movie' leading her way further into the industry. Sandra has skied on 6 continents and besides various global nominations and awards for her performance as an athlete (nominee for Best Female Freeride 2013 & 2014, Femme Fatale Award 2014, Line of the Year Award 2015, nominee for Best Female Performance 2016) she has evolved herself a career in filmmaking with her multiple awarded 'Shades of Winter' films and is one of the most experienced athletes when it comes to big mountain skiing and filming. Featuring the best female freeski - and newly also surfing - athletes from all over the world in her movies has not only established as her USP but also offering athletes and sponsors a new high quality platform to present themselves. Her passion for skiing and the mountains, her managing skills and her creativity, ideas and constant search for inspiring images and stories has made her 'Shades of Winter' films one of the biggest freeski film productions up to date. Since 2013, Lahnsteiner has a co-production agreement with the Red Bull Media House for her films, guaranteeing a top-notch production level and global distribution.
