Michael Anthony Jr. was born on August 28, 1980 in Vancouver, Washington, but was raised in Portland, Oregon by his mother, Lisa, a Service Coordinator for the state. Michael attended Cleveland High School (also the same high school that Nike founder Phil Knight attended) where he was a starter on the varsity basketball team. After graduation and with his athletic success in basketball, Michael attended Skyline Community College in California. While at Skyline, he focused on his academics and performance on the court. His hard work paid off when he received a full-ride scholarship to finish his education at the University of West Georgia where he majored in psychology. With the end of college approaching, Michael had to make some tough decisions about what to do next. His fascination with all things film led him to Atlanta where he pursued TV production. As a certified producer by People TV Network, he developed, wrote, and hosted The MAS & More Show - a short, episodic webseries loosely based on his life. The show was well-received, earning him 3 awards from the Turner Broadcasting Network: Producer of the Year, Best Overall Production Values, and Best Programming Entertainment. Still reeling from MAS & More's success, Michael decided to further hone his craft in front of the camera. He left the east coast and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he landed at the Second City Improv. When not in class, he often performed live stand-up, booked commercials and print campaigns, and starred in a few independent films. His success in Vegas allowed him to get into SAG. With his new status, Michael headed out destined for Hollywood. Now, Michael calls Los Angeles home.. He is currently signed with DDO Artists Agency and can be seen in "Brown Paper Bag" on Amazon Prime as well as in supporting roles for 2 new pilots - Bobby, the ex-husband in "Licensed to Chill" and Larry Denton, a defense lawyer in "Wrong for Right". He also has several personal projects available now - The Vegan Roadmap, a food destination series highlighting the best vegan spots in different cities and his new comedy sketch series, Bits & Pieces.
