Inka Rusi

Specializing in dark comedy, character driven storylines and being an actor's director, Inka received a Fulbright fellowship to pursue a graduate degree in film directing at California Institute of the Arts and graduated in 2020 with the support of the Thanks To Scandinavia Grant. Before transitioning to directing, Inka worked in various positions on international feature films, documentaries and commercial advertising on productions such as LAUGH OR DIE (YLE), THE DEVIL'S BRIDE (Netflix), GAME OF THRONES (HBO)as well as on commercial productions for clients such as British ELLE, C-More and MTV3. In 2019 Inka co-founded production company Onerva Pictures with her sister Tanja Rusi. Inka also directs commercials for production companies such as Grillifilms and Woodpecker Film in her native Finland. Inka was born in New York and grew up in a diplomatic family, which makes her a citizen of the world. She is a member of The Finnish Film Director's Guild and Women in Film & Television Finland.
