Angel Rodriguez

Angel Rodriguez was born in Puerto Rico, but he was raised in NYC making him a true Nuyorican. He grew up in the tough streets of the South Bronx during the 1980s. Angel has a bachelors degree in computer information systems and an associates degree in computer science. Angel proudly served his country for eight yrs as a Health Services Management Technician in the United States Air Force Reserve. Angel is a spoken word artist, many of his poems have been adapted to music and he has a hip hop mix tape 'Power Struggle' due for release (2012). Angel has written and performed soft rock as well as hip hop songs in English and Spanish. Though he has no more than only one professional class in acting, he has dabbled a bit in acting, particularly as a performing poet. He has had small parts in independent films such as 'Snuffd' and 'Tito Goya', and he also has a large body of work in amateur youtube videos. In addition to acting, writing poetry and music Angel also runs a successful review, news and commentary website. You can find him as the lead editor on NYCTalking. He also writes guest spots on many other sites. Angel trained in mixed martial arts and considers himself a fit guy in recovery. He enjoys snowboarding, karaoke, youtube, blogging and travel. Angel is the proud father of a young man and is happily married.
