Gloria John

Gloria John is a Korean-American actor, Martial artist(2nd degree black belt in Samurai Swords) and a former dentist. She is known for Vegas Kid and the Drifter selected for Los Angeles Indie Film Fest where she plays a lead. She was born in Korea and then moved to Honolulu Hawaii. She attended Jefferson Elementary School which is right next to Waikiki beach.She loves the ocean. Her parents couldn't stop her from leaving home at the tender age of 14. She decided to move to Chicago and pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. She had to grow up pretty quickly in order to pursue her dream. She attained her doctorate in dental surgery from University Of Illinois Chicago and she is currently a licensed dentist in California. She started acting in the infamous Second City Chicago where she was cast for many sketch comedy shows where her passion for acting started. She then moved on to study acting with many teachers in Chicago and California. One of the films,"The Perfect Letter", was awarded best acting in Chicago Horror Film Festival. She was recently (2017) in the film, "Fake News" with Eric Roberts, Psychosis with Tyler Mane. She is fluent in Korean and reading and writing Korean. She was recently (2018) a language assistant and casting associate for a Super Bowl commercial.
