Christina Toth is an actress and writer best known for her work as Annalisa Damiva in the Netflix series Orange Is The New Black. Other TV credits include HBO's Boardwalk Empire, Discovery's A Crime to Remember, Revry's Strut and Prime's Bumbld. Christina was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and was introduced to the stage by French-Canadian actress Rita Lafontaine, who soon became a mentor. Christina moved to New York City in 2010 to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and graduated from their 2 years Meisner conservatory program in 2012. Some of Christina's stage work include David Bowie's Lazarus directed by Ivo van Hove at the New York Theatre Workshop, (A)Loft Modulation - a play with jazz, directed by Christopher McElroen and produced by the american vicarious at A.R.T. Theatres, The Woolgatherer directed by Chazz Palminteri at the LaTea Theatre, and Candlelight by John Patrick Shanley, at The New Ohio, where she originated the role of Mabel. Christina Toth is the resident artist of theatre company The Bridge Production Group, where she actively participates in the curation of the company's artistic seasons. She performed in their productions of Richard 3, Red Light Winter, The Blue Room and in the New York premiere of See You, a play by French Canadian playwright Guillaume Corbeil. Talk to Me in Silence, written by Christina Toth, was awarded with the Honorable Mention in The Best Short Film Category at The New Wave Short Film Festival (Munich, Germany), The Los Angeles Short Film Festival (California, USA) has nominated Talk to Me in Silence as Best of the Festival. The NICE International Film Festival (NICE, France) has nominated Christina for her Outstanding performance as Lead Actress.
