Jason Velo

Jason Velo is an American actor best known for his athleticism and dramatic presence on screen. Jason was born Jason Anthony Nieblas in Santa Ana California, to Lilly (Morales) and Danny Nieblas. A child of divorce with 4 older siblings, Jason endured a difficult yet well experienced childhood. Upon graduating from Santiago High School, he quickly joined the workforce supporting himself while pursuing a career in Mixed Martial Arts. It wasn't until late 2010 that Jason discovered his talent as an actor when he took his first camera class at Cypress College. Engulfed in his new career choice, Jason quickly left College for Los Angeles. He spent the next six years studying various acting methods with a foundation in the Meisner approach under Wolfgang Bodison at Playhouse West in North Hollywood. Jason is currently an active member of Urban Theater Movement where he contributes as an Actor, Writer, and Director of various projects, while simultaneously self producing his own short films.
