Mélodie enters the french international film school Esec in 2002. After graduating, she acted as assistant director for different production companies. In 2005, she assisted Chantal Ackerman in her video arts projects while simultaneously completing a Masters in Film History at Paris Sorbonne. Armed with the expertise gained from these experiences, she directed her first short film "Zéro Kilomètre here" in 2007, and was awarded in festivals for her work. She was selected for the Trouville Off-Courts Film Festival, where she discovered the Kino movement, which challenges artists to produce films in 48 hours. Since 2012, she pursues her desire to explore different genres by directing twenty-some short films worldwide (Helsinki, Vienna, Prague, Hamburg, Montreal, Sydney, Ouagadougou... ) with the Kino movement. In 2013, Mélodie directed Petrouchka, produced by « Les Films Après la Pluie », while writing her first feature movie.
