Mayson stumbled into acting as effortlessly as he stumbles in for morning coffee. One fateful day, a starving "actor" friend at Starbucks suggested that, if he liked sitting around drinking coffee, doing nothing all day long, then a job as background in the movies, could be his calling in life. Mayson agreed, and instead of loaning his starving "actor" friend $50, as his friend demanded, he coolly tamed him with a $4 hot bowl of chili and a country style biscuit . After eating, and bravely proceeding without an umbrella, the grateful friend dragged Mayson down to an agents office in Vancouver. Once he signed papers and got a quick snapshot, things were put into motion. From these humble beginnings, and after multiple fruitless years, Mayson had parlayed this opportunity into greater bankruptcy and destitution than his starving "actor friend". Until, with gentle guidance and years of open animosity from coffee shop staffers to "get a job", he relented to a greater call. He decided to take a hiatus from his attempt at the worlds longest coffee break and begin drinking more coffee on movie sets instead.
