Sebastian Klemm-Lorenz (born in 1985 in Halle/Saale, Germany) is a European writer, director, producer and actor. He spend his childhood in Berlin-Hellersdorf. In 2004 he earned his Abitur at the Hedwig-Bollhagen-Gymnasium in Velten, where he also attended the schools drama club and choir. After he got his diploma, he worked in a Hornbach hardware store and the R&R Gallery Berlin, while studying Computerlinguistics and Law at the University of Potsdam. In 2010 Sebastian moved to Vienna (Austria), where he studied Theater-, Film- and Media-Sciences at the University of Vienna. In 2011 he made his directorial debut with his short film TV-Aktiv (2011), which he also wrote; both in collaboration with Tina Hörgl. Following an internship for the Austrian Broadcasting (ORF), he went on to work under Tatort (1970)-writer Lukas Sturm at his production company neulandfilm. From 2013 to 2020 he worked as writer, director, producer and SVP of development at DMG-Film, where he co-developed the companies first international live-show, and the pilot for the Austrian Broadcasting's prime time documentary series DOKeins (2014). In 2020 Sebastian founded boodehoo arthouse, a production company with primary focus on script and concept development.
