Born and raised in Amsterdam director Koen Feitsma [1978] started his career in the entertainment business at an early age by organizing dance and house party's at well-known clubs throughout the city. As a young freelance creative, Koen worked as an art designer, producer of video content and as performing DJ at several house events. Being enthralled with 'moving images' Koen made his way up to become an all-round film- & video editor stationed at The Media Park, the heart of the Dutch TV industry. After a small decade mastering storytelling, TV- and film editing, Fx, audio and compositing Koen enrolled the Director Course at the Amsterdam Film School. He successfully completed this education writing and directing his graduation film 'HARD', a 12-minute drama about a young and upcoming DJ based on a true story: his own.
