Daniel Nascimento is a comedian, director and producer. He was born in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 1st. He graduated in Radio & TV at Universidade São Judas Tadeu (São Paulo, BR) and Filmmaking at London Film Academy (London, UK). With a group of friends, he started producing sketches in early 2000. A few years later, together with Anderson Bizzocchi and Elidio Sanna, he founded the "Cia Barbixas de Humor", performing since 2004. Nowadays, Barbixa's Youtube channel has more than 3.5 million subscribers and 10 million views every month. In 2009 he started his career on TV as an actor at "Quinta Categoria", an MTV Brazil show dedicated to improvisation games. In the next year, at Bandeirantes TV Channel, he performed another show with the same format, "É Tudo Improviso", currently on-air at TBS Channel. As a director, he worked in "Olivias na TV" (2012), a TV show that satirizes many aspects of everyday life, inspired above other influences, on Monty Python. He has also direct at the Brazilian version of Saturday Night Live (SNL) at Rede TV Channel (2012). In the next year, he was author and screenwriter of the TV show "Divertics" at Globo TV Channel. He produced with Rafinha Bastos a mockumentary show called "Chamado Central", with two seasons on Multishow Channel (Globosat). In this project, he also directed and was a head writer. In 2017 and 2016, Daniel was head writer on a TV Special called "Prêmio Multishow de Música" at Multishow. His last project as a writer is called "Homens?" and is a co-production between Comedy Central and Amazon. The second season will release in April.
