Fazle Hasan Shishir

Fazle Hasan Shishir is a Bangladeshi filmmaker, writer, film-researcher, curator, producer who has also deep interest in practices like xeroxography, culinary arts, percussion etc. He has made his debut short film 'Momentos Paralelos' in 2012 which has got him the "Celebrating Life 2013" award. Later, he had made a few short films over the years but was more involved in organizational activities related to the film society movement and tried catering a diversified cinematic taste. He has achieved an M.A. in Film Studies from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. His research interest revolves around the new experimentation in cinemas around the world. As he has deep aspiration behind the dream of forming a New Cinema Movement in Bangladesh, he is ready to collaborate and curate long-time projects with potential talents who shares the same aspiration.
