Ariel Looper

Filmmaker . Screenwriter . Editor. Ariel Looper was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Military child, she and her family moved to various places around the United States before eventually settling in San Diego, California; where she attended middle and high school. Ariel studied Film Production in London, England where she obtained her BA at University of Roehampton and MA at University of Kingston. Ariel Looper comes from a diverse background as a European Jewish, Black and Mexican American. She is also a member of the lgbt+ community. She believes her background gives her a unique prospective on life here in America. Ariel's films and screenplays are often within the Crime, Action and Comedy Genres with complex female leads from diverse backgrounds. "I love films made by and about strong women and I am lover of rule breakers."
