Edwin Haorokcham was born in Imphal, Manipur, which is a small state in the north-east of India. He completed his schooling from Bhavan's Sawan Public School, New Delhi. He graduated from Frameboxx Animation, Bangalore as a Bachelor of Science in Animation and Visual Effects. In 2017, he directed and shot his first short film called Iriguchi and released online on 27th October, 2019.
