Martín Armenta was born in Bosconia (Cesar, Colombia), and he is convinced that the main purpose of the human being is to be happy. He has been an actor for more than thirty years, during which time he has participated in some of the most renowned productions of Colombian television. Productions with which he has obtained the recognition and acceptance of the viewing public. Similarly, he has played characters for film and theater. As a writer, he has published three novels so far. The first one was "Remolinos de hojas secas". With her he had the satisfaction of touring most of Colombia and met wonderful people who spoke excitedly about history. A satisfaction that he was able to revive with his novels "Por tus malas acciones" (which reached number one in its category on Amazon Spain) and "La venganza de los fantasmas", stories that mix action and suspense. He has a Master's degree in Literature from the University of Barcelona. He is a Social Communicator-Journalist from the University of Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano, and a performing artist graduated from the Charlot Academy of the city of Bogotá under the direction of Mr. Jaime Botero. In addition to all of the above, he was co-writer of the film El Carro and a story contributor to the films Ni te cases ni te embarques, Te busco and Mi abuelo, mi papa y yo, as well as a librettist for the television comedy La vida es un baile. He was a professor at the Universidad Externado de Colombia and has been a film and television director and producer.
