Malin Falch

Graphic novelist Malin Falch is from Trondheim, Norway. She took her education in San Fransisco in the prestigious Academy of Art University in hopes of getting employed by either Dreamworks or Disney. There she won three student awards, for best design, best animation, and best background design. Flach has worked with the game company Zynga Inc., but quit to move back to Norway to work on the Nordlys graphic novel, an official version on her web comic Fjordsøn. The graphic novel series Nordlys is a portal fantasy with roots in Norwegian folklore. Sonja is one night visited by a strange boy who's strangely familiar. He's from a magical kingdom and brings her there. They travel through the northern lights and appear in a Norway, kind of similar to what we see everyday, but exist in any of us who have just seen the northern lights. A a magical and bubbly journey into the magic of the north. In 2020 Nordisk Film bought movie rights.
