Wilma Olivar also known as Whilhelmina Lodriga-Olivar, is a Filipina film/stage character actress, print ad and commercial talent, former design artist and English/Arts teacher. Her acting roles include Apparition (Aparisyon), a Cinemalaya film entry for 2012 directed by Vincent Sandoval, in which she played a role as "Sister Olga" set in 1971. She also starred in Villa Teatro's Noli Me Tangere 2012 as "Dona Victorina" directed by Jeffrey Santos and in El Filibusterismo 2012 as "Hermana Bali" directed by James Villafuerte. Also in 2012, She's part in the Bayang Magiliw film directed by Gil Portes (released on April 2013), in which she played a role of an impoverished mother with 10 children. This February 2013, she starred in Villa Teatro's Hunchback of Notre Dame, a musical stage play directed by Avon Maralit. She played the role of "Gudule" - mother of Quasimodo. Wilma was born in Manila, the first child of Wegerto Lodriga (deceased) former advertising art director, and Purificacion Arcega, a teacher. She has five younger siblings. Her ancestry includes Spanish and Filipino-Chinese. She studied Fine Arts major in Advertising at University of Santo Tomas, Manila and BSEducation at Pasig Catholic College, Pasig. Wilma's film debut came in 2009 after enrolling at ABS-CBN Star Magic Acting Workshop (Batch 5) when she played as an enigmatic, demure interior designer and mother of the lead actress in the film "RUSH", a Lasalle film. In between acting roles, Wilma also works as print ad and commercial talent. Her recent TVC, she's part of Jack Enrile's political ad for 2013. As well as acting, Wilma is also a professional freelance painter and portrait artist.
