Caitlin Chuckta is a NYC based actor. She is married to comedian/performer, Ryan Williams. They have two daughters and reside in Connecticut. A classically trained actress, Caitlin has been traveling the world since the age of 14 with her stage career. Born and raised in Monroe, Connecticut, to Mike and Margaret Chuckta, Caitlin's performing career began at the age of 5 when she fell in love with dance. She studied at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and then earned a full scholarship to Boston University's Theatre Institute for Acting. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut, Caitlin's career took off when she was cast as Juliet in The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's production of Romeo and Juliet (2002). She has performed on stages in 5 different countries and 30 different states. Favorite roles include Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Connecticut Free Shakespeare and Connecticut Repertory Theatre), Ginny in the Off-Broadway Production of 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche and The Ghost of Christmas Past in three European tours of A Christmas Carol. Caitlin spent 15 years in Chicago devising new theatre works, studying improv, and playing "the Mom" in commercials.
