Mitchell Farkas

Mitchell is an American television producer, writer and director based in Asia. He is a partner at Farfilms Ltd, specializing in factual and natural history programs for international markets. He has researched, produced, written and directed award winning content for Discovery Channel, National Geographic, PBS, BBC, CBC, Arte, NHK and ZDF. Farkas worked with the BBC into the early 2000's producing and filming programs across the Asia Pacific region. In 2004 he helped found Farfilms Ltd. in Beijing. Farfilms has produced hundreds of hours of quality programming focused on China and Asia for international broadcasters. Specialties: research, writing, producing.
