Artist, designer and innovator. Axel Villamil is a Computer Science and New Media Studies graduate from the University of Toronto, he continues to marry his two lifelong passions, technology and arts, constantly preaching this combination in speaker events for TEDx, Rotman School of Management, The Hatchery and more. His love for art and performance stems from his time in the Stratford Festival, appearing in a production of The King and I, to opening for acts like T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, dancing in music videos for B.o.B, Cascada, Shawn Desman, YTV and choreographing for Filipino stars Enrique Gil, Liza Sobrano, Maha Salvador and Xian Lim. This accumulated into him competing at the Hip-Hop World Championships where Axel placed 17th in the world. Loving the creative process, he formed his very own production company, Red Label Studios allowing him to be trusted by companies like Nike, Family Channel, and ET Canada. His most recent venture, StageKeep, solves a problem he found in his early days of dance and still encounters today: why do we still use a pencil and paper to demonstrate choreography? He was able to provide his software to choreographers who choreographed for Ariana Grande, Drake, Cardi B and even strike a deal with the Raptors all before the software was out. As Axel moves forward, his goal is to solve problems his fellow creators run into
