Jokie Tolentino

Born and raised in South Los Angeles, Jokie had shown an early talent in music. At the age of 7, she began participating in regional music festivals playing piano eventually competing in music competitions adding in the guitar, accordion, drums, and vocals to her repertoire. Her interest in performing grew to television, appearing on local cable shows and independent video. Although Jokie's creative career was blooming into stand up and sketch comedy just out of high school, she decided to forgo the entertainment field and go to college. She graduated with a BA in Communications specializing in Television/Film Documentaries. Jokie continues to work in independent film/video and is a member of the San Diego sketch comedy group Cookies & Wine.
