Philippa Langley

Philippa Jayne Langley is a producer known for Richard III: The King in the Car Park (4 February 2013) and Richard III: The Unseen Story (27 February 2013). She is an Executive Producer of The Lost King (2022). Written by Steve Coogan and Jeff Pope and directed by Stephen Frears, The Lost King tells the story of Langley's discovery of the lost grave of King Richard III in a parking lot in Leicester in 2012. Langley won the Royal Television Society award for Best History Programme in 2013 for Richard III: The King in the Car Park. The King in the Car Park was also nominated for a BAFTA in 2014 in the category of Television Specialist Factual. The documentary was based on Langley's original Looking For Richard Project (2009).
