Romeo España lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife and 4 kids. Prior to Romeo becoming a Product Engineer at Dialexa and Hardware Lab manager, Romeo was an independent Engineering Consultant. He focused on the development, construction, and deployment of a low cost unmanned aerial vehicle platforms for civilian applications. Romeo is the co-founder of North Texas Drone Users Group and leader in the National Drone Users (Group) movement. A vocal advocate for Civilian Drone use he has been featured frequently in local media and was a 2014 TEDx UTA Speaker. Romeo's aerial video work has been featured in several movies and TV shows. When not changing the world though drones, Romeo is an active volunteer at the Dallas Makerspace, teaching people about 3D printing, hacking, electronics and generally making the world a better place for future mad scientists. Romeo is a US Navy Veteran and a NASA Aerospace Scholar Alumni.
