Cesare has been writing screenplays since he was 19, and swears he's gotten better at it. He coauthored a produced film, "Sound of Nothing", which has been an official selection in multiple film festivals, including the St. Louis International Film Festival. He has written and even appeared in multiple produced shorts for various local filmmakers, and has been a finalist multiple times in Cinemaspoke, the screen-writing competition put on by Cinema St. Louis, where he was often complemented on his ability to take and work from notes without crying. His most recent entry, "Breath of Bones", coauthored with Paul Unger, has since been optioned for production. Cesare has written multiple feature screenplays in genres ranging from romantic comedy to horror, and has been used as a script consultant on multiple projects, including "The Battle of Island Mound," an historical piece done for the state of Kansas. Cesare has also written multiple produced works for stage, and is a long time comic book geek, so it is in your best interests to avoid the subject if you don't want to hear him ramble about them for hours.
