Daniel Pappas

Daniel Pappas was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After living a life in the big city he attended Southern Methodist University for film school. The moment he walked on campus he started working on film sets: student sets, webseries, even PAing for an MTV show! Following his graduation he served as a volunteer for Paz y Esperanza in northern Peru (Moyobamba to be exact!) for one year. While there he traveled up the Amazon River to interview native tribes about the effects of deforestation. It was a regular Indiana Jones experience! Upon his return to Dallas he waited tables for nine months before diving deep into the production world. He works as a freelancer in the North Texas film industry typically as a Boom Operator/A2 but also as a PA, editor, and occasional camera operator. He speaks fluent Spanish, plays ultimate frisbee, and rock climbs for a hobby. His motto is "What could go wrong?"
