Michelle Serje

Michelle Serje is a Colombian-Dominican actor and voice artist from New York. She is first generation and speaks fluent Spanish. You can hear her as the English voice of "Purificacion" on the Netflix hit, La Casa de las Flores (The House of Flowers, Season 2 and 3). Trained at Michigan State University with a BFA in Acting and Degree in Communications, she is a classically trained stage actress performing in lead roles of productions such as The Grapes of Wrath (Rosasharn), Mother Courage and her Children, and Anton in Show Business. During University, Michelle was cast in a regional theatre production of The Dead Guy becoming a member of AEA. Michelle trains extensively with renowned acting coach Howard Fine at the Howard Fine Acting Studio in Los Angeles. Starting with improv at the age of 8, she has continued her training at both UCB and Groundlings. Continuing her drive towards comedy, Michelle performs regularly with her improv team at UCB and around LA. As a filmmaker, Michelle produced and stared in her first Dramatic Short film in 2019, "Make Me Up", which received recognition in multiple festivals including winning Best Short Film and Best Actress at The Hollywood Verge Film Awards. Michelle has a considerable amount of experience in dance: tap, jazz, ballet, hiphop, and freestyle. She is a certified personal trainer with NASM and a fitness instructor for over 6 years. Highly influenced in fashion, Michelle has her own vintage store online and hosts pop-up shops around LA, @brainsexvintage
