Jennifer May Walker is an actress, burlesque/go-go performer, model and singer. Born in the West-Island of Montreal, Jennifer's passion for the theatre arts began in childhood. She was in The Pauline Rathbone Children's Theatre in Montreal, Ottawa school of dance and a gymnast for 13 years. Jennifer has trained with top Meisner coach Jacqueline McClintock and has studied the technique of Uta Hagen with Marc Durso from Miami. Jeni also frequently studies with Gordon McCall, the former director of the Centaur Theatre in Montreal, and is presently a student of Tom Todoroff Acting Conservatory in NYC. Jennifer's performing career evolved in 2007, as she landed the role of Janis Weiss in the live musical theatre production of the cult classic 'Rocky Horror'. Jeni played the role of Janet, for 3 consecutive years in prominent Montreal venues (Theatre National and L'Olympia). This show led Jennifer to the world of burlesque and vaudeville, as she performed in sold-out burlesque shows for 3 years in the famous Montreal Fringe Festival. Jennifer performed burlesque at the Montreal Fetish Weekend and soon after, found herself modeling for Polymorphe latex clothing on the big stage at Le Medley, Montreal. Shortly thereafter, Jeni moved to South Beach, Miami, where she was a professional go-go/showgirl dancer in some of the most prominent clubs and events in Miami, including, Liv, Set, The W (wet bar) and The Ultra Music Festival, just to name a few. On August 23, 2012, after the passing of her beloved teacher Jacqueline McClintock, Jennifer decided to commit herself completely to acting with no exceptions or excuses. Not long after, she had the opportunity to be in the short film (Presented at Cannnes 2013) "Ceramic Tango", a psychological thriller/fantasy, directed by award-winning filmmaker, Patricia Chica. Following right after came another role in a short French drama/thriller called "Ainsi-Soit-il", directed by up-and-coming filmmaker, Alexandra Elkin. Jeni plays the role of 'Agnes', an abused young wife of a husband, played by well-known Quebec actor Louis-Georges Girard. June 15-22, 2013, Jennifer May starred as 'Leonda' (Satan's girlfriend) in a play called "Alex Cross and His Rise to Fame", a rock comedy written and directed by Frankopho Nietzsche. Performed at the famous Mainline Theatre, Montreal Fringe headquarters.
