Jason was born in Anchorage, Alaska and moved quite frequently as a child, living in Japan, Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama before finally settling in Gardendale, AL, a suburb of Birmingham. He attended The University of Alabama, U.A.B. and graduated from The University of North Alabama in 1995 obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.
