Luner Eugene, a Haiti native, is a director, writer, producer, and cinematographer. In 2008, he directed, produced, and entered his first short film "Employed" for the Johnson & Johnson BET Lens on Talent Film Contest, which started the filmmaking bug. In 2012, he directed a short film "Jessica Takes Charge'' written and acted by Carlacia Grant and Julie Kendal. The short film was acknowledged by the popular YouTube Channel "Indi Mogul." Luner Directed Poukisa Music Video" by the group GazzmanDisip, featuring Richard Cave and it was nominated for best cinematography by the Widescreen Film and Music Festival. Luner continues his passion for film and directed the Bae Night Series. Season 1 was nominated for four categories in the 2018 Miami Web Festival. Luner won the Best Cinematography Award; leading actress, Sandra Justice, won the Best Actress Award; and the series won the Best of the Fest Award. His commitment to the industry and vast experience landed him a speaking role as a panelist on film-making at the Film Music Arts Culture Conference (FMAC) held at the 2018 Jazz in the Gardens Music Fest in Miami Gardens, Florida. FMAC is an action-packed one-day conference of intimate discussions with prominent figures in the Arts. The Bae Night Series is now a feature film starring Hollywood Actors Jaiden Kaine and Carlacia Grant. The movie will premiere in 2022. After three years in the making, Luner wrote, directed, and produced the six-part feature film, "Loving Till It Hurts." A must-watch romantic drama film about a lonely and unhappy housewife who runs into an old high school friend while experiencing emotional abandonment and is struggling to maintain their love for her husband. In 2018, the movie was awarded Best Romantic Series at the Urban Film Festival. Also In 2019, it was awarded Best Cinematography at the Miami Film Festival and Best Narrative at the Orlando Urban Film Festival. The film brought education and awareness to the community of domestic violence. In 2019, a panel discussion with the Dr. Khalilah Camacho Ali, the former wife of Muhammad Ali along with Mental Health Therapists, Authors, and cast members came together to share light on the sensitive topic. The film was also featured on Island TV with special interviews featuring Director Luner Eugene, Actress/Producer Sandra Justice, domestic violence survivors, and Mental Health Therapist. The film is heartfelt and is now streaming on Tubi and Amazon Prime. Thriving through the film industry, Luner is working on his third feature film, "Queen's King," telling the unlikely love story of an odd Afro-Haitian couple Ram and Nefe living in South Florida. Their journey begins when "Nefe", defies her Christian beliefs to pursue a crush on "Ram", an aspiring rap artist. Queen's King is scheduled to be filmed in February 2022 and will be directed and produced by Luner himself. Luner's extraordinary talent and passion continue to be recognized and was featured in Flava Magazine and Shoutout Miami. Shoutout Miami is part of the Los Angeles-based Voyage Group of Magazines. Luner lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he continues to hone his writing, directing, and producing abilities.
