Troy Thomas

Troy is an actor, director, and writer living in Portland, Oregon who works with local film makers on mostly independent films. He is known for his work with Jace Daniels, Bill Christensen, Boarderworld Films, and taking on unknown, independent projects. Born in Portland in 1988 to Kerry and Julie Eggers, Troy is the second of three boys. He grew up in Beaverton, a Portland suburb, graduating from Westview High School. Troy began pursuing acting after getting cut from his high school baseball team. He had always been interested in drama and theatrical performance, but had never had the time. Elizibeth Ficken, a close friend and school mate, convinced Troy to audition for the school's latest production, 'The bald Saprano." Together, with their palpable comedic chemistry, they won spots as the leads in Troy's first dramatic experience. Troy then attended Oregon State, where he studied German and Theatre arts. There he studied under local acting legends Marion Rossi, Scott Thompson, Elizabeth Helmen, and Charlotte Hendricks, among others.
