Jacqueline Salgado is a Honduran actress who made her big screen debut alongside award-winning actors Daniel Zacapa and Mario Cimarro in a major screen production filmed in the Bay Islands. Jacqueline has a very diverse skill set with a wide range of acting experiences including film, theatre, commercial acting and promotional tours. Jacqueline continues to hone her craft by taking acting classes in both Honduras and the United States. Her first movie role was in the smash hit Honduran film called "Unos Pocos Con Valor". Her performance won her accolades from newspaper and television critics nationwide. In 2013, Jacqueline's training in theatre and film landed her a supporting actress role in the collaborative US/Honduran movie "The Zwickys". She also performed in the film "In The Light" working alongside such prestigious international actors as Mario Cimarro, Silvana Arias and Socorro Bonilla. This film has been distributed throughout the United States. Her most recent supporting actress role was in the Honduran film "Four Hondurans in Trouble". Previous to this film, Jacqueline played a sports executive in the Honduran film "Once Cipotes". Her supporting actress role in this film showcased a strong, determined woman with an antagonistic demeanor. Jacqueline has taken every opportunity available in Honduras to hone her acting skills in both theatre and film. Her experience includes years of formal training at the CC Artes School, on camera acting and voice training classes with Tea Tres, and classes at The Acting Studio in Chicago, Illinois. Additionally, she is a graduate of Actors Models and Talents for Christ (AMTC) training school and was a recipient of of AMTC's prestigious "Achievement Award". Despite living in a country which has not yet reached its full potential in film production, Jacqueline Salgado has worked tremendously hard to hone her skills as a film, television and theatre actress. She has capitalized on every opportunity, though most of those opportunities being unpaid, to pursue her dream of becoming a feature film actress. Hailing from artistic family roots, Jacqueline is also a mother, author and small business entrepreneur. Her "Dream Big" attitude has never wavered since dreaming of becoming an actress as a young girl. Her passion and perseverance, despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles, has been a source of inspiration to her children and her fans. Jacqueline is a bilingual, college educated and formally trained professional. Jacqueline is determined to be a voice for her home country as an actress and be a beacon of hope who will open doors for others to accomplish their dreams.
