Sarah Marie Miller was born on April 21, 1983, in Troy, New York and raised in Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, New York. She's the only child of Thomas A. Miller, a commercial real estate broker, and Kelly Miller, an educator. Although they divorced when Sarah was in high school, they're best friends. It was her parents' love of movies that brought her to her first movie theater at six weeks old, and she has been frequenting them ever since. After graduating high school in 2001, Sarah was accepted into the University of New Hampshire where she intended to study marine biology. However, before leaving for college, she had a change of heart and ventured even further upstate to Lake Placid, NY. Although her big dream was to pursue acting, it was a modeling contract that got her to NYC in 2008. Sarah always loved story telling, especially when film is the medium. Once there, Sarah hustled her butt off and hit every cliche in the book. She bar-tended, waited tables, Airbnb'ed her apartment (shhh...don't tell her landlord), nannied and modeled to pay for classes, coaches, workshops and acting school. She landed her first lead role in 2012 playing "Anna" in the short film The Rift, directed by Eddie Bernard. And she's still here.
