Jenish was born in Kerala, India and moved to Central Park Ave in Yonkers, New York as an infant. He moved to Georgia at the age of twelve. Living within these contrasting demographics shaped and influenced his voice as a storyteller. The opportunity to act, write and direct was first given to him within a close-knit South Asian community in Georgia. This sparked his interest in acting which led him to train and study Theatre for his undergraduate degree. Since graduation, he continued to hone his craft as an actor by training with Maechi Aharanwa, graduate of the Juilliard School Drama Division and Adam Stoner, an original member of the prestigious New York Film Academy. His first professional on-set television experience as an actor was in David Ayer's Deputy. As a writer, he continued to sharpen his skills by training with playwright S.M. Shephard-Massat, winner of the Elizabeth Osborn and Helen Hayes awards. He continues to write, direct, produce and work as an actor. This past summer, he wrote, directed, produced and acted in an independent film. His vocation is being a creative. It empowers him and allows him to be his best self.
