Francisco Javier Toro Lessen was born in 1986 in Talcahuano, Concepción, Bío Bio Región, Chile. He is director, writer, professor and musician. Studied audiovisual communication in the DUOC Concepción. His filmography focuses on the native peoples of Chile (Mapuches). He is the director of the BioBio Film Festival and best know for Könun Wenu (2010).
