Jeff Gentner

A Paducah, Ky. native Jeff got into acting later in life after a career on the other side of the camera. While directing his 2016 award winning comedy short "Art Sale" Jeff filled in to cover for an who actor who got sick and was unable to perform. He credits that moment as the day that forever changed his life and career path towards acting. His leading role in the Vietnam short drama "Black" (2020) is creating buzz and positive reviews as it enters the 2020/2021 festival season. "It's not often that an independent film delivers such good acting performances. It's not easy to cry on film, especially to give a specific kind of cry necessary for real believably with war content like we have in this film. And He pulled it off." said the Perennial Film Festival about Gentner in "Black" (2020). Currently based in Savannah, Ga., Jeff has developed a strong relationship with the Savannah College of Art and Design film department. A father of three he plans to move to Los Angeles once his middle daughter graduates from high school.
