Danny Schramm is an American Producer/Director in Los Angeles, California. His self-titled production company Danny Schramm Films [us] launched in 2015, spearheading his first original television series at only 20 years old. While still in high school, Schramm executive produced and directed a short film that received "Best Film" and "Best Director" accolades from the largest student film festival in America. This propelled his work and name to an international audience, including red-carpet screenings across 10 cities in India: Bombay, Delhi, Bangalore, Calcutta, Ahmedabad, and Pune which ultimately reach out to over 4 million people across the subcontinent. At 18 years old, Schramm was selected to attend the CNN Journalism Fellowship (CJF) at CNN's worldwide headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, for his strong research skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, creative visual sense, and superior work ethic. He was chosen for this distinguished honor from only 14 candidates worldwide, and had an exclusive opportunity to hear from CNN executives on how they make decisions for the network. Schramm was able to observe CNN's major editorial meetings and engage with the 13 other CJF Fellows from around the world. He was able to sit in on meetings and seminars focused on showing him the inner-workings of CNN. This prompted the creation of Schramm's wildly popular, satirical "newsroom" Amazon series.
