Miika Hakala

Miika Hakala is a filmmaker and music video director born in Espoo, Finland. In the late 80's he moved to Hämeenlinna, Finland and attended 'Hämeenlinnan yhteiskoulun lukio' high school. He graduated in 2005. After high school he continued to pursue his film career and co-directed and co-wrote his debut feature film Uuteen kesään (2009). He studied Administrative Sciences in Tampere University and got master's degree in 2016 while simultaneously working on his second feature film Pahaa verta (2013). He has also directed, written, shot and cut many music videos for different artists. He has also worked on many short films and commercials either as a director/writer or an actor.
