Kyle McMahon, also known as K.Mac, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, author, television personality, radio show host and entrepreneur. Signing with Warner Brothers Records out of high school, he began recording pop rock songs for his debut album, "one.". While recording around the country, McMahon got news of his step father's deployment to Afghanistan, and he put his music to the side. In the meantime, he began managing professional golfer Michael Tobiason Jr, who was the subject of a Golf Channel documentary at their time at the U.S. Open. McMahon also began managing producer / rapper Tyler "ICE" Coday, a fellow Delaware native. With his dad safely back on U.S. soil, McMahon and Coday began recording for McMahon's new set of songs. In Summer 2013, McMahon appeared on 4 episodes of Oprah's Lifeclass on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, speaking out about his biological father's abandonment before he was born and throughout growing up. The response was overwhelming and he became the "face of fatherless sons". McMahon released a one-off single, A Letter 2 My Younger Self (Fatherless Sons) as a free download, in conjunction with the Oprah shows. The music video received over 100,000 hits in the first month. He wrote for the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network section of Huffington Post for 6 years writing personal development articles for Millennials. McMahon began giving a series of speeches on fatherless-ness in America, as well as started Stand Up Man Up, with Veronica De La Cruz to lobby for strengthened deadbeat dad laws. Additionally, he joined the Obama administration's My Brothers Keeper initiative as an influencer to help at risk youth find positive outlets. He also joined the United Nations Youth Assembly to help face the challenges affecting people under 40 in the world. In 2017, McMahon joined multi-platinum pop group LFO for their 18 city "Rich In Love" tour across the United States. McMahon works with iHeart Radio as an on-air talent and hosts both the Pop Culture Weekly and Kyle2U podcasts. He writes for and curates a blog and YouTube channel, Kyle2U, designed to help other Millennials transform their lives for the better.
