Sapphira Chattan

Sapphira was born Sarah Ann Chapman in Aberdeen Scotland, she grew up in the small fishing town of Banff on the North East coast, before moving to Shropshire, England at the age of twelve with her family. Her father was a Civil Engineer and her mother worked in advertising for Moray Firth Radio in Inverness. She has one sister, a geologist who studied at Edinburgh University. Sapphira took the family name of Chattan (also a Scottish Clan) when she registered with the actors union. During her teen years she attended the 'Shropshire Youth Theatre' company as well as the performing arts school 'Stage 2' appearing in shows at The Gateway and the Shrewsbury Music Hall. Sapphira studied Drama at the Shrewsbury college of Performing Arts for two years before going onto a Higher National Diploma in Theatre Studies with Staffordshire University. Sapphira was first brought to the attention of vintage and pin up model enthusiasts in 2008 after appearing in calender's and magazine's such as Vintage Life and Pin Up Perfection. She also appeared in the 'Modern Pin Up' book published by Flo Publishing in Los Angeles. Sapphira lives in the West Midlands, England with her husband, singer and actor Brendon Riley and their children.
