Gene Avakyan

Gene Avakyan has 25 years' experience in all aspects of technical leadership and innovation, leading teams and projects in Government, Entertainment, Medical, and Cybersecurity industries. Gene has earned his Aerospace Engineering bachelor's degree from UCLA, as well as an MBA degree from Pepperdine University. Gene has developed and supported the procurement and contract management software systems that power the City of Los Angeles and the Federal Aviation Administration's building, contracting, and public outreach programs, managing over $4.5 Billion in combined contracts. He has been awarded for his design and development of the Los Angeles City Attorney's office T.O.U.G.H. nuisance property abatement system used to integrate City, State, and Federal law enforcement efforts in fighting local organized crime. In the private sector, Gene served as Chief Technology Officer. He is the co-founder of VUGA Enterprises and 24Fashion television. Gene also received an award from MOSAIC federation for helping in the fight against human slavery and trafficking.
