Stephen Carrasco

Stephen Carrasco has been singing and dancing professionally for the past ten years. His Broadway credits include Billy Elliot, White Christmas, Ghost, and currently the 2013 Tony Award winner for Best Musical Kinky Boots. Also in NY, he appeared in the City Center Encores productions of Music in the Air and It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman. Stephen spent a year touring the U.S. and Canada in Young Frankenstein, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. Originally from Okemos Michigan, Stephen now permanently resides in New York City. Since moving to NYC, he has had the pleasure of working with such choreographers as Josh Bergasse (Emmy award winning Choreographer of Smash), Jerry Mitchell (Tony Award winning director/choreographer of Hairspray, Legally Blonde, and La Cage), Randy Skinner (Tony Nominated Choreographer for White Christmas, the revival of 42nd Street, and Ain't Broadway Grand), Warren Carlyle (Director/Choreographer of the recent Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow, Chaplin, and A Christmas Story), Michael Lichtefeld (Choreographer of Broadway's Little Women, and The Secret Garden), and more. In addition to performing, Stephen has taught musical theater workshops all over North America.
