Scotty McKnight was born in Newport Beach, California on February 11, 1988. McKnight played college football at the University of Colorado, where he finished his career ranked first in receptions (215) and receiving touchdowns (22) while becoming the 10th player in NCAA history to catch at least one pass in every game he appeared in, and the sixth to do so without missing any games due to injury. After college, McKnight entered the 2011 NFL Draft, where he was selected by the New York Jets in the 7th round (227th overall). After his NFL career, McKnight began writing episodes for the TV series, CSI: Cyber (2015) before Co-Founding GOAT Farm Media, a sports media company empowering athletes to tell their stories.
