Kate Tandy

Gold coast actress, Kate Tandy, also known as Katelyn Rebecca Tandy was born in Darwin, Northern Territory on the 30th of April, 1993. At the age of 10, her family relocated to a small country town in Queensland on the outskirts of Brisbane where she grew up and was raised. After graduating from Tamborine Mountain State High School in 2010, Tandy found herself working Business Administration for the department of economic development at the gold coast city council, which lead to her assisting in location scouting for big budget productions filming in Queensland. She found her love in film during this period, aspiring to work as an assistant director which soon led to her passion for acting. In 2013 she landed her first support role on a local short film, People You May Know (2016), which was entered in the 2014 Tropfest competition and from that she scored the lead role on a well-known country musician's music video.
